Looking after your sight

Full eye exams with our experienced Henderson optometrists start from $65. Our comprehensive eye exam includes a prescription check. We will also provide an eye health check for raised eye pressure, glaucoma and cataract.

20/20 vision doesn’t always mean your eyes are healthy. Many eye problems can only be detected during a thorough eye exam. We look out for your vision and so we recommend annual eye health checkups. Affordable vision

The New Zealand government provides a spectacle subsidy for children under the age of 16 if their parent/guardian holds a valid community services card. This subsidy covers both eye exams and prescription glasses.

You may be eligible for government funding for your contact lenses if you meet certain criteria such as high myopia or hyperopia, or you have an eye condition such as keratoconus. Our optometrists will be able to advise you if you qualify.
